At Mississippi Physical Therapy, we believe you shouldn’t have to go one more day accepting your pain or the limitations it puts on your life. Starting with your very first visit, our licensed and skilled therapists develop a hands-on, personalized treatment plan to accelerate your path to a pain-free life.
You’re not just another patient here. You’re a unique person with specific reasons to get back to a life without pain, living without limits. Our goal is to get you there faster with a proven, three-step process that we put into motion on your very first visit:
We Find the Source of Your Pain: We identify the core problem or pathology and help you understand why it’s causing you pain, and the limitations it can cause if left untreated.
We Embrace Your Goals for Getting Better: We get to know your personal reasons for getting your life back to normal. Then, from that day forward, your goals are our goals.
Your Personalized “Life Without Pain” Plan: We give you a personalized plan, combining our leading-edge treatments, therapeutic exercises, and more.

Typically, initial evaluations will last 50-70 minutes. Your therapist will spend significant time talking with you and educating you on your condition. We will also perform manual therapy and/or dry needling to help you make immediate progress. We will also prescribe therapeutic exercise to help you maintain gains following hands-on intervention. We will usually end treatment with modalities such as moist heat.
Athletic Wear: Consider wearing loose-fitting, moisture-wicking athletic clothing, such as a T-shirt, tank top, or moisture-wicking top, along with shorts or yoga pants. These types of clothing are often ideal as they allow your therapist to easily access and evaluate the affected area and provide you with a wide range of motion.
Footwear: Choose supportive, comfortable athletic shoes with good arch support and cushioning, especially if you’re performing weight-bearing exercises. Proper footwear can help reduce the risk of injury and provide stability.

If you don’t see your insurance provider listed, please reach out to our team. We may still be able to accommodate your needs.
